I think the rumors of Room Noises' death are greatly exaggerated. It may not be exactly what WE wanted, but it's still a viable album, complete with a couple of potential hits. I do hope they make a good leap the next time they hit the studio, but I expect that out of any band. I could have sworn everyone would be flipping with joy over this song, but I guess I was wrong. This just goes to prove that you're not gonna please everyone ... _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I am flipping with joy, honest. I really am even though I didn't sound like I was in my last post. I was just critically analyzing the song. I still like it tons, even if it is not my favorite on the album, and am beyond excited just to be getting another video from Eisley. I am completely elated. _________________ -Brooke |

in all honesty, brightly wound is not my favorite song. i like it, after all it is eisley, but it isn't as good as the other songs on the album. i'm still extremely excited that there's going to be a new video because if anything it's going to lead to more exposure for the band. _________________ when we break, we'll wait for our miracle. god is a place where some holy spectacle lies. when we break, we'll wait for our miracle. god is a place you will wait for the rest of your life. -neutral milk hotel |

like others have said, it is quite ironic that the two songs Eisley probably wanted on the album least ended up being their singles. i'm happy they're making another video, but it should have been Golly Sandra.* i fear the potential of indie media, etc backlash. i'm just ready for some new recordings/new album/etc. with me doing the video _________________ I am Torgo. I just don't get it ... And Golly Sandra has NO hope of radio with the pedal steel in it. It won't work. It's a neat addition to the song, but it murded it for the radio, sadly. So if Plenty of Paper was the single, would we be saying this same stuff? _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Im my opinion, a much more suitable single would have been My lovely. Brightly wound is okay. But, like Lost at Sea, I skip it easily. Those are the only two songs I can bear to skip too. Every now and then, they're nice to listen to, But, eh. I'm excited about the video though. Boyd said something about "Sci-fi", so that should be interesting... _________________ Gosh, writings music Ryan5 wrote: I still love Eisley a gamahucheing million time better than farting |

It's funny, because I usually start on Brightly Wound when I listen to the CD. Oh well. I find myself half stunned being a minority on this one. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I am happy to see it stepping forward- I think once it hits radio it will suck in a lot of new fans. The Jamie Bloc has spoken! The Jamies support Brightly Wound! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

So if Plenty of Paper was the single, would we be saying this same stuff? i don't think the pedal steel is that big of a deal. Shania Twain stuff gets played on pop radio. i guess they could do a radio version and just put a Chauntelle lead in it's place. oh well, there's no use debating it really .........the record execs have spoken and they have the heavy hand with money spilling out of it. _________________ I am Torgo.
