I was just listening to my ipod and becoming you comes on. how many of you, like me, dig this song? even in its unfinished state i like it. it is simple, melodic. and i know that on the lyrics page there are more lyrics than they sing, but i still think its a good tune. i would love to hear a finished version of it. so who else likes that tune? _________________ Wil's excellent description of me. wilsmith wrote: You're the Anti-Censorship+Topless Twitpic Parodying+Youth Group Video Directing guy that's a champion for the 1st amendment, Videogames as Art, and unrepentant file sharing... It's one of my favorite early Eisley songs. _________________ Power is only pain It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in. These days, I think of it as an old cousin of "We Feel Good." Another great, unpolished love song that will probably never make anything but a B-sides and rarities album or a completist box set. But yeah, it would be really cool to hear a proper version of it one day. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I love that song... I love all of their old stuff! Haha, when they played Laughing City at Buzz-Oven, I was seriously taken away with the performance just because they never play it and it's one of my favorite songs by them. Becoming You has a great and simple melody to you that just pulls you in a alluringly relaxing kind of way. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. I'm guessing that's one reason they don't have it on the album. ha. But honesty counts for a lot, too. Mushy is good somtimes. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
