I would say Minipop, but they almost seem TOO similar...mainly in the vocals. And it's not just because they both have girl vocals, the voices really are similar. Well, in my opinion at least.

I think that every time someone says Minipop ...

i have debated on whether to say my opinion, but Rabbit Junk would be a really good contrast to Eisley for a show. Eisley as the co-headliner, playing first. then Rabbit Junk comes out and blows everyone away, literally. one can dream...

Honestly the Eisley, Jack's Mannequin, Jason Mraz combo from Sundance intrigued me.

hopefully not...

but I'd pay some good money to see them open for Neko Case or Devendra Banhart.

would love to be courted by some of the bigger bands you've mentioned + more: Shins, Arcade Fire, Deathcab, etc. but so far, no offers. Someone suggested we do a la femme' fatal' tour - Tegan & Sara, Eisley, _____, or something like that... Rilo Kiley, Eisley, _____ etc. There is nothing on anyone's radar with this. WB, of course, would love Eisley to take out any of their younger bands. Eisley has their pick for an opener. Anyway, right now, the band's agent is lining up the band's April-May tour. i have rough dates in cities... but nothing confirmed. So... we don't even need to worry about some big opening act tour for a while. When dates are confirmed, i'll post them. It could be a while. Smile

I love Jack's Mannequin. I love Andrew. But, that show was dreadful, and not because of the music, but the people. I was almost in tears. I saw JM a couple years ago at the Sonar in Baltimore and I have never been treated so badly. Everyone was drinking and pushing and shoving and talking and being so very rude.

if they were doing a acoustic kinda tour then you need to get 'gemma hayes' she's amazing, tho i think you need to get WB to sign her up first... she's written a new album but i don't think she's got anyone to release atm..

I saw JM at SXSW two years ago I think. They were great live.

I know what you're talking about when you say people were rude though. I thought people were being rude during the first few songs Wesley Jensen played during the acoustic tour. Everyone was talking, and quite loudly, up until right about when Christie came out.
