it's just a Hummingbird, but you don't see very many black Hummingbirds (actually, that's the only one i've ever seen ever!)

i don't think so — i've heard of them being offered “once upon a time…”, but i've just never actually seen another one. i think i heard they bought it used, or something? i'm not 100% on that…

Cool, she'd get more for it if she signed it or did a drawring on it with a silver pen (I'm thinking like one of Joe Satriani's guitars.)

Or she could lick the machine heads..

well, i've been lusting after it since i first saw it, and i actually need an acoustic guitar (my old one broke… Sad), but i doubt i could actually afford it (my most expensive guitar right now is a Squier, so…)

no! it's too purdy to smash!

i never quite understood the whole autograph thing, somehow, and i can't help but think it'd ruin a bit of the purdiness (maybe something on the back? i don't know...)

i'll have to think about licking the machine heads… hmm… i'm not sure i'm really that much of a creepy pervert…

I'm sure if put it on ebay or even just made a thread here, you'd get more than enough offers.

Just a feeling, I could be wrong. Wink

woah!
my inquisition coaxed Sherri to the board.
i'm exstatic!
*high fives around the board*

my Guild acoustic (i have no idea of the model) spanks it i'm sure (i'm going by sound to my ears though i have not played yours), but of course, the fact that it was played by you makes yours infinitely more valuable.

how about this,
throw in some of your artwork and i'll give you SEVEN BIG ONEs*.

goooing once!
gooooing twizice!!
sooooooollllllllldddddddddd!

*yes, that's $7.00 (US dollars)!

well, technically i think she was replying to me, but i guess it doesn't really matter. i think it's kind of funny how any member of the band can post something completely inconsequential and ridiculous and make it such a big deal! like if Stacy said “i like burritos”, dozens of people would be picking over it's deep philosophical implications, and what not — you know? for whatever it's worth, though, even if the guitar didn't belong to “The Sherri”, i'd still desperately want it, just because it's so awesome, and purdy, and lust-worthy, and stuff.

wait, what's the point of this post again? i forgot — maybe there wasn't one…

i was actually parodying that which you speak of and joking around with Sherri in the process.

had i not asked about said guitar you wouldn't have spoke on it though, now would you?

for reals, let's have an Eisley raffle for the guitar and let me control the box with all the scraps of paper in it.

Here's the Joe Satriani guitar I was thinking of:

I think it looks good from a distance, up close not so much. I do like the way the earlier doodling has faded and the new layer drawn on top gives it depth. Doing this to a guitar probably isn't a good idea unless you have a company giving you a bunch of guitars for free.
