^^^^^

good luck with that. you are more likely to get an answer from mom than Sherri.

And Kim would know too.

Yeah or Kim but I thought Sherri might know since she was in the booth you know..doing the song.

Kim might see this and shed some light.

I like this thread cause it made me listen to a song I hadn't listened to in a long time. Anyway, it sounds to me like she's saying "job" while laughing. So there's a laugh in the middle of the word. It sounds like "aww, yeah good jo-haha-ob."

my mom says she's pretty sure it's a chinese girl and not sherri cause the girl speaking has a mainland china accent, but maybe that's just us. i should note my mom is from taiwan and knows various chinese accents. whatever they're saying though i love how it sounds like both english and chinese

why is it more likely that it's a random chinese person randomly speaking chinese than it being sherri?

I thought this thread was a joke at first.

That's definitely Sherri saying "Aw, yeah good jo-ob!" kind of giggling in the middle of the word "job."

You can hear everyone else agree with "yeahs."

I thought anyone who listened to that song in the right atmosphere (headphones, in a car, whatever) heard that. I guess growing up speaking another language would increase the instance of hearing things that sound like a certain language but are not.

Anyone can tell that's Sherri's sweet but high-pitched speaking voice. Go watch some interviews in the band where Sherri is laughing/speaking in a similar way.

I wonder that Sherri is going to think about this confusion, haha. She'll probably get a kick out of it. My mom always told me Eisley had an oriental sound when I played certain songs off Room Noises.
I just told her she was crazy...

Maybe that's the case but it could also be that you guys can't hear the voice clearly and your mind is making it sound like something else that makes sense. It a mental thing. I'm positive that's not Sherris voice though I could be wrong. Also I don't hear a "j"

I once had an argument with a friend about his Generic Scramble game. I thought it was fake cause it was called "Scrabble" and that wasn't a word.

The real game was called "Scramble" because you scramble up the letters and then play (plus Scramble is a word!). He looked at me like I was crazy, and I just didn't get it, cause I never owned the game, but I'd heard of it and just assumed Scramble made more sense... I was wrong.

I even went so far as to ask to see the box cause there was no way this was the Milton Bradley official game. Embarassed

Well, this kinda reminds me of that... so I empathize, so 'm laughing with, not at. Smile
