I busted out laughing when I read that, Hannah. Sig'd.

I showed the video to my cousin and in the beginning, when it's going back and fourth between all of them, my cousin shouts, "She has gorgeous lips!" I started laughing and asked which one and she didn't know. I'm pretty sure she was talking about Stacy, because she shouted it right after Stacy was on screen.

I literally love the video. Every time I watch it, I thoroughly enjoy it more than I did before. I think it has plenty going on. It's more like a indie music video. As in, indie films usually are pretty calm but there's an message in there, it's just under the surface. Where more mainstream movies are all action and drama and very climactic.

stop joking around!

Knowing Sophie, I doubt she is joking.

Was about to say the same... Wink

I'm 100% serious. First of all, I think the IWP video got a bad rap. If you cut the dialogue from that video (which would be fairly easy and is also what the band wanted) it might be my favorite of all of theirs, actually.

In this new one, there would be no way to go back into editing and get rid of the absolutely hideous helmets. I mean, I guess you could remove them, but everyone would be running around with weird CGI hats instead. Now that I think of it, that might have been better.

Bump! Somehow I guess I missed all this. Of course I am not bouncing around the Eisley-verse of the interwebs like I used to. But very cool video! Smile

Anyone notice that the view count is fairly low, and climbing pretty slowly? I'm wondering if this is because the video is only uploaded through the equalvision channel and not also on the eisley channel. Smarter is uploaded on both channels, and the one on the eisley channel has roughly 3 times the views of the one on the equalvision channel, I believe (could be wrong).

is it still set up where you can only see it if you have the link?

if so, that might be part of it too since it can only be shared and not found through searching.

if that's the case, they need to change that right now

no need to make it private like that

Am I the only one who thinks this video is the reverse of Invasion?
Either way I love it Smile (though that interpretation makes me love it more)

Ha! it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw it. Then I found myself thinking "What is with this whole, Eisley as alien invaders? Am I reading too much into it???"

But you know, them being in TX I could see why they might feel that way sometimes. The state doesn't get depicted as the kind of place that would produce A Special Kind of Music For You, but it does. TX has actually produced a lot of Special Kinds of Music For Me Wink

and then there's NASA and all that.
