It's been one whole year and I still love you dearly, well 80% of you, there's still that one thing you do that I'll never get into, but I get why you dig it so much You're beautiful & I just want you to know it. _________________ yup, that's my name. It's not polite to kiss & tell. Past posts on this subject will convey my one reservation; but why spoil a good thing by focusing on one slight disappointment? I'm content & blissful nonetheless. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. I would probably like it better as a hidden track because it breaks the flow more than I can take given how well the sequence flows without out it, without getting stale. I totally get the song, and the sentiment, and there's a place for it. Deep Space just captures this vibe that I dig so much, and I would appreciate that one more if it were part of a set of songs that were more varied. It hits more as fitting the approach for Room Noises and Combinations, but everything before and since those records sort of adheres to a certain vibe or energy that creates a continuity I really appreciate. _________________ yup, that's my name. i think it would've been better if it was placed at the beginning of the ep. it creates a nice transition into lights out and kinda adds a closure to valley era songs. -edit- by the way, does laugh it off remind anyone of fleetwood mac's dreams? _________________ Oneironaut http://www.facebook.com/ChengBand |

Yup, Dreams is nice point of reference. I love both. And yeah, 192 as an Intro would work great. I would love it if they actually dirtied up the track with record needle (aka stylus) noise, scratches, wow and flutter, and make it really sound like a record. Heck, cut it to vinyl and then record the playback... (duh, totally a Lost at Sea demo homage) That would have been perfection then have the record play to the end of the track and do that skip think it does when it hits the label a few times as Light's Out fades in... Perfection... to me. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. LC > FB = personal fave = Eisley fans should dig it |

i still love the deep space song and the trip hop mystical feel that one last song has. _________________ Oneironaut http://www.facebook.com/ChengBand |

Somehow, I'm still at that point where, if I have my Eisley library on shuffle, a Deep Space song will come up and I'll be like, "What song is this? Why do I not recognize it?" Well, except 192 Days. I recognize it immediately. _________________ Do I even need a signature anymore? |
