Bonus, Making of https://vimeo.com/12167757 Wait, what two songs? Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps I was going to pick Maps next because it was recommended next to one of my other picks: The two songs that are related, musically , are Take On Me and the Prize Fighter. They are in relative keys if I trust my ears correctly. The idea of isolation and the escape from it strike similar threads with me. I'd say that each video speaks to the times they were created in in a particular way in regards to how people view the what it meant to be unrequited at the time. I didn't want to double dip on an artist but I knew from the start that I would be posting It's Okay by Land of Talk. It's beautiful, to eye and ear. https://youtu.be/m53--yTPQNk _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. Ooh that Land of Talk is verr verr nice. Yeah it keeps recommending videos that I watched while compiling my list but I thought it was just on my youtube. Here's a video I used to wait and watch for someone to order on The Box. No Doubt - Sunday Morning |

This thread is opening up the vaults of memory and I am coming up with a lot of good ones that I want to spam the thread with, but I am going to be self-disciplined. Then part of me realizes a lot of videos are a factor of the budget of the artists involved, so a lot of the more cinematic videos I remember are by major label bands supporting singles. All that said, I'm just gonna go with my heart... UNKLE - Rabbit In Your Headlights https://vimeo.com/9572603 _________________ yup, that's my name. Ok, I gotta give it up, this has been the best build up to a punchline in troll for I've seen in a while. If I was a mod, Id lock this thread right now. Instead I will use this as an opportunity to shift gears... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHwVBirqD2s Wait, what am I thinking THIS is what my Subconscious was trying to steer me towards... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIF6f3tFxBw _________________ yup, that's my name. One of my favorite tongue in cheek videos with on of the three most influential and popular rock songs of the early 90s (along with Teen Spirit & Are You Gonna Go My Way, which belong in this thread too).
