Ben,

that is Sherri and Chauntelle. (you are kidding right?)

Boyd, me, and the girls all went. We had been wanting to meet the Hansons for many years. We have always felt that if it were ever possible, it would be a good thing to do, since our families are very similar in what they do, except, Hanson had the instant success. (not that they didn't, haven't, and still do work for it.)
We were also very interested in hearing their story, and hearing what they were doing now. They have launched out independently, and their story is full of valuable lessons for any band.
Many Universitys that they just finished touring at, are incorporating thier documentary into their music curriculum. I hope we get to see that someday. I think eventually it will come out on DVD.

Boyd and I met there father. He was so gracious to talk with us.
The girls were whisked backstage by a mutual friend/fan of Hanson and Eisley, and were introduced to the Hansons.
The guys already knew of Eisley, and were very kind, and encouraging to Eisley.
It was a fun trip, a great meeting, and hopefully a continued friendship.
THE SHOW -
WOW! Those guys have been at this for so many years. They were flawless with all of their skills. They never miss a note, are quite the entertainers, and we all left needing hearing aides from the packed filled room of 1800 screaming girls!
In the middle of their show, they dimmed the lights, hushed the crowd, and asked for silence, as they sang a flawless, three part accapella (sp?) hymn tribute, to their three grandparents that had passed away that very week.
None of us DuPree's had a dry eye. It was the most moving moment of the entire show. Every one of those boys have incredible vocal skills and power.
So....there ya have it! Smile

Awwwww, Kim I am a huge fan of Hansons and I've met their whole family at various times. they're all soooooooo sweet, especially Taylor. Gosh he's very very nice to his fans, he loves doing autographs.

Hey Kim, the Hansons are doing another Fool's Banquet at their recording studio. That's where they invite other people to their studio for a few days to write stuff. It's going to be in January. I always thought wouldn't it be sweet if they asked Eisley to come to one of those, supposedly they're really fun. But it's just a wish. This was from Shannon Curfman's website-

I love Hanson.
I've gone to their shows almost every time they've come through here since 1997. Haha. I'm really proud of that fact.

Actually it was Sherri not Stacy in the picture. So you don't really know their names either.

I won't go on record. I will say i was extremely impressed with their show and their fans and their family. I know they're big Radiohead fans, so... i give them cred for that. They actually do a cover. crazy huh? mmm....,
bop I can't remember which song it is.

That's pretty awesome. Hanson is good stuff. But I've only heard 1 of their more recent stuff (Penny and Me).

Zach has grown into quite a good looking boy.

hahaha. yes, but one of the hansons (taylor) is married with a child (maybe more of them are too...i don't know), and one of the duprees is engaged. so that wouldn't work out too well. but the other gals could hook up with the remaining boys. Wink

They put out a cd from their Live & Electric tour.
It contains the Radiohead cover and the U2 cover.
