There's a sandwich shop just off campus (as in, 200 feet off campus) of the university I attend. They seem to regularly play Room Noises (heard Plenty of Paper one day, and Lost at Sea and Telescope Eyes back to back another day. When I first heard Plenty of Paper being played, I didn't recognize it at first, just due to not imagining that I anyone could possibly be playing Eisley. PS, Boyd, I'm be refreshing the journal page every few hours today waiting for a Christmas post. Just so you know that your efforts aren't wasted. _________________ |

a hookah lounge in Joplin, MO (a small town about the size of Tyler) plays Eisley regularly. I always try to remember when I go because they play them at least once everytime I'm there, but I usually forget by the time I get home. I haven't heard anything from Combinations yet, it's mostly just songs from Room Noises (and by mostly I mean it's only from Room Noises). |

I finally heard my own kids in Anthropology today! It was so funny to all of us 'cause nobody recognized them, or realized that the artist that was playing, was actually in their store. It was exciting to hear their music being played in a store. oh yeah....that part that Stacy said about Sherri singing up on the table wasn't true, but Sherri did walk past people, look them right in the face and sang her harmony parts real loud, and Weston was beating on the wooden tables and stuff for his drum parts! No....just kidding again. |

Kim, I honestly don't believe you're kidding about that. My story? Saturday before UK release day for Combinations. Dermot O'Leary. Radio 2. 2.30ish in the afternoon. Taking Control. that took control of my thinking mind... _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? I heard the first few riffs from "Invasion" playing at the Barnes and Noble in Northridge, California, but then suddenly it cut off and they played the Transformers soundtrack. I ran around asking all the store employees who was playing but none of them would admit that it was Eisley. It may have been an accident or something. Also, my friend texted me while she was in Oregon to say that she heard "Taking Control" at a GAP. |
