Just an hour or two ago I somehow came across Eisley. I listened to a few songs and was amazed. The music is so good. I feel something from it. I read almost the entire bandsite to try to find out more about this band. The feeling I get from Eisley reminds me of my dearly departed friend and the music he, for lack of a more fufilling word, created. I think music should speak to the listener, that's why I'm so amazed by this music. I wish I was aware of Eisley sooner so I could of gone to some of the shows up here in DFW. Good luck to the band, Austin p.s. Daisy Compelled is the band my friend was in, they've played at the Door as well. _________________ HST - RIP "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." - Jimi Hendrix "You may say I'm a Dreamer, but I'm not the only one." -John Lennon |

How exactly did you find out about them? Online I'm guessing.. I made an Eisley cd for my 11 year-old cousin today. She was like, "for me? really?.....thanks." It was cool. Anyways, welcome _________________ "Aren't we all hanging from a fragile vine awaiting an inevitable plunge to doom while mice gnaw at our temporary safety? Yeah, online of course. I was either at a website about this russian geophysicist who accidently (supposedly) created a "time camera", or the free fiona apple site. Both very interesting. Now that I think of it, it was probably the later of the two. _________________ HST - RIP "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." - Jimi Hendrix "You may say I'm a Dreamer, but I'm not the only one." -John Lennon |

Thank you. I was just over at the band's lead guitarist's house hanging out and working on the music. I had to show him Golly Sandra, I love that song. He's in another band (Kingfish), and when I asked him if he was familiar with Eisley he said everyone in that band liked them. Thank you for the welcome. _________________ HST - RIP "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." - Jimi Hendrix "You may say I'm a Dreamer, but I'm not the only one." -John Lennon |

The last time I took a rode trip to see Eisley, I ended up in Detroit crap city, 5 20 minutes after they'd played. It was terrible. The best part was the hick we met on the way back. |

I didn't get the ep's yet. I checked the Target nearest my house and didn't find it. Figures, they don't have a good selection. They only have Sgt. Pepper's and Lennon Legend (I was also looking for Beatles for Sale and Imagine). I'll check Best Buy tommorow, and work on some more music. Peace. _________________ HST - RIP "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." - Jimi Hendrix "You may say I'm a Dreamer, but I'm not the only one." -John Lennon |
