I felt I had to sign up, just to post this message. I know you're all going to be huge fans of Eisley and want to promote them as best you can, which is fair enough, but do me a favour here - stop spamming the Straylight Run message board every five minutes. I'm tired of deleting or locking your posts. We have a thread dedicated to Eisley and one is enough. Your overactive street team is admirable but I'd rather you left it at that. Hey Sarah, sorry about that. A lot of that is probably from e-merge which is kind of a different beast than this forum. I'll make sure that the appropriate people see this and hopefully get out a message to tone it down. Hi Sarah, I run the e-merge team. There are strict rules on there against spamming (we are aware of its adverse effect so we do not endorse it) and there is no Objective to post Eisley on other message boards. (we tried it once for a couples day last year and it got out of control so it was taken down). I cannot stop members from posting their links but I will remind them, as always, to be more careful and respectful when posting in other communities. I sincerely apologize on behalf of the whole team... |

Thanks a lot. I expected to be jumped on hahah, "Go away, leave our band alone" stylee but it's nice to know you're a friendly bunch. I quite like Eisley, anyway. I think most people posted on the Straylight board because they also won the "Who's Next" contest. Myself, I'm not against posting on other bands messageboards as long as its done in unobtrusive manner. You have to make sure that someone hasn't posted the same stuff already. In addition, its wise to post in the "other music" section of the messageboard. |

DeadPoetic Thank you for your kind and courteous manner in asking people not to be an Eisley pest promoter on other boards. Being the mom of 4/5ths of Eisley, I come to their board everyday, and it would get sooooo annoying if other band's were doing their promoting on the Eisley board. We do have the SHAMELESS and MUSIC sections for people to promote or introduce other music.
