Wow. That's a lot bigger than I had thought. But that could just be the venue. But I'm assuming that they're all gernerally the same.. and, wow. That's a lot of people. The only show I've been to with a crowd that size was at Warped. _________________ we're not sleeping and i'm not breathing |

I wonder how they're responding to Eisley. Unruly? They look like kids. Maybe annoying kids. But anyway ... I'd be pretty unhappy looking standing at the front of the crowd, my rib cage collapsing under the pressure of people around me who don't understand the concept of personal space ... _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Yeah, the contest isn't really good in terms of verification, but I don't think anyone really cares. If you can get people to go online and check out the website, thus exposing them to more Eisley, then the contest is a success. Incidentally, I think they should promote it as "Go online and get a pic of you at the concert! Then enter to win stuff!" If Boyd keeps on using big shots like the Orlando one, all he has to do is take a few pics of the crowd and he'd be able to get just about everyone. Shoot, he could walk around taking multiple pics of the crowd, closeups, group shots and everything. Don't tell me people wouldn't go online to the website to get their free pic. People love to have momentos like that, and its extra nice to have the pic already available to save to your computer. TheAntrider wrote: Unruly? They look like kids. Maybe annoying kids. Well, I didn't mean unruly as in throwing beer bottles, but you can tell there is a lot of pushing going on to get to the front. They're packed like sardines. I know on the Snow Patrol tour the crowd left a little more room to maneuver and breathe. Plus, it looks like more than 1 mosh pit session has already broken out. |

I think this idea is great. I found about Eisley from Myspace, so I'm looking forward to having my pic on there the day after the show. And yeah, those crowds look pretty big. Someone else made this comment, but I'll be at the DC show at the 9:30 club, and it won't even be close to this size crowd. But I'll be one of the guys up front, that's for sure. I don't mind a few squashed ribs. It's hard to say about the crowd size, but so far our show is not a sell-out. I'm guessing the crowd will be pretty thin for Eisley. I've seen some great opening acts here and always gotten right up front. If they do a shot later in the show, during NFG, I'm guessing it will be pretty packed. |

jdstories wrote: Anyone have any idea how many tickets these venues are selling? That looks like a lot more people than were at The Parish last January. Well, I guess we'll have a wide variey of small and large venues. The Plush in Jacksonville is a night club and looks really small. The Orlando HOB meanwhile has max capacity of 2,000. |
