bout 3 weeks ago I was watching Ten Most Wanted (tv show on Angel One channel that shows christian music videos) and Eisley's "telescope eyes" video was #1. I didn't know that Eisley was christian because I just became a fan about a month ago. But I totally think its awesome that they are at the head of the charts of christian music. Actually I love the fact that they are christian in the 1st place! Rock on Eisley! ~LFJ _________________ ~Raw rock kills -Showbread the band~ |

Hmm. That is cool that they are getting air play on the Christian channels..but yeah...what the mighty penguin said... Hey, welcome to the forum, by the way! _________________ And it's so sad to see the world agree That they'd rather see their faces fill with flies All when I'd want to keep white roses in their eyes.

Actually, if you truly follow Jesus Christ, then every aspect of your life reflects His love. _________________ http://www.compassion.com/Default |

Eisley however, are just talented people who believe in that train of thought. |

Actually I agree..I didn't look as close as I should have at "the music does not portray these beliefs". Good call. _________________ And it's so sad to see the world agree That they'd rather see their faces fill with flies All when I'd want to keep white roses in their eyes.

It is definitely a hard line to draw..It doesn't really bother me either way. _________________ And it's so sad to see the world agree That they'd rather see their faces fill with flies All when I'd want to keep white roses in their eyes.

Even if I were Christian, it is unlikely that I would listen to much Christian music, since most of it is of such poor quality. That's just my opinion. JD _________________ "Well, hopefully that's our job, to strap rockets onto everything." - Adam Savage, Mythbusters |

JD and mine too. although purely because if someone is telling me 'god is awesome guys!' then i'm not interested. That's just my opinion. enough of this thread. bye! |

Plus, if all I want to listen to is someone telling me my beliefs are right, well that sounds like phony ego stroking. I'd rather be challenged. The human experience shouldn't be so shallow. WOW! That is the best review I've ever read! It was accurate, succint, praising, and surprisingly open-minded. Kudos. Thanks for bringing that to our attention. JD _________________ "Well, hopefully that's our job, to strap rockets onto everything." - Adam Savage, Mythbusters |
