has anyone noticed that in Stacy's line in the second verse, the melody sounds almost exactly like "I'm Just A Little Black Rain Cloud"? I mean, it fits with the whole, "i shall never grow up, make-believe is much too fun", idea. |

I was surprised to see a thread about this. Brightly Wound has always reminded me of Winnie the Pooh. Especially the line "lets go far away to the humming meadow". I was recently in "The House At Pooh Corner" at a community childrens theatre. In the play they constantly talk about meadows and songs that are "hummy". I don't remember seeing any dragons in Winnie the Pooh though. |
