I did. I don't even think they went up here in Austin, but they threatened to raise the prices because of Katrina so I thought I might as well top it off before that happens.

I did. Knowing that local gas stations were going to jack up the prices today (and they did), I filled up the car last night after work. It was still 26 bucks to fill up a HONDA. Jeez.

I'm in the same boat as Chad. One tank lasts about a week if I ONLY commute. If its a busy week, maybe 4-5 days...

I filled up this morning ($36 for a '92 Oldsmoblie), all the prices were at least 10 cents higher then yesterday...

*stupid, stupid, stupid...*

I just paid 2.79 a gallon in Stamford, Connecticut today. I decided to just put in a few gallons and fill up the rest where I live where I can save a good 20 cents per gallon.

I wish I had such a small gas tank as you people. I got stuck with a truck almost two years ago (don't ask).

Yeah my mom made sure i had enough because she said that gas prices could be as much as 3 dollars and that's insane. I've always though that the government should really really do something and make an effort to lower gas prices. I remember back when it was only a a dollar.

Why, exactly, is this a valid reason? The war in Iraq, I can understand, but we do have other port cities not affected by the hurricane, and I doubt a few hundred extra miles on a tanker's journey really warrants a $0.20+ gas hike.

It's $2.89 here in the third largest city in Missouri. I'm just about ready to buy a scooter, dead serious.
