I did. Knowing that local gas stations were going to jack up the prices today (and they did), I filled up the car last night after work. It was still 26 bucks to fill up a HONDA. I'm in the same boat as Chad. One tank lasts about a week if I ONLY commute. If its a busy week, maybe 4-5 days... I just paid 2.79 a gallon in Stamford, Connecticut today. I decided to just put in a few gallons and fill up the rest where I live where I can save a good 20 cents per gallon. _________________ If nobody makes you do it, it counts as fun -Hobbes |

Yeah my mom made sure i had enough because she said that gas prices could be as much as 3 dollars and that's insane. I've always though that the government should really really do something and make an effort to lower gas prices. I remember back when it was only a a dollar. |

The war in Iraq, I can understand, but we do have other port cities not affected by the hurricane, and I doubt a few hundred extra miles on a tanker's journey really warrants a $0.20+ gas hike.
