I think it's my favorite eisley song.
It's incredible.

"War horses" I think of as tanks or something and "rubber-bands" the tires. But I am not sure if that's the meaning. The way I interpret it changes sometimes.

well, i seem to remember a certain drummer explaining that it was about a problem two of his sisters were having and that he had nothing to do with that crap.

Heh, I just thought of it as being a huge spat between two people, and they don't forgive each other until they're in a nursing home.

That's just good stuff.

I'm not seeing it that way .it seem to be a story of how a man survives a war.i could be wrong.

Well, like, the first verse is the "war" of the argument, the second verse is the stubborn old people that can't forgive, and finally verse three is the forgiveness. And the chorus is the voice of reason.

Sherri's knees say die.

I just think Golly Sandra is about an inattentive parent, who is feeling bad about not being around for their child.

No silly, that's "Heaven Runs On Oil" Razz.

I think the great thing about, really, music in general is that it's open to interpretation. I think it's just more or less general escapism, and, much like Marvelous Things, isn't necessarily meant to be taken literally.

If nothing else, the chorus is one of my most favoritist parts on Room Noises Smile.
