Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew if Chauntelle or Sherri took guitar lessons or how the story goes on how they learn to play guitar. Mainly just curious about it. I really like how they play and I specially like the distortion Chauntelle uses on Head Against The Sky. Well if your able to answer my question I would be greatful. Thanks For Reading.. |

i think they were mostly self taught from reading books and learning songs off of records. |

Self taught mostly. Boyd showed them chords here and there, Wade has shown Chauntelle some stuff, and Chauntelle took a few lessons from this amazing Flamenco player that use to live in Tyler, but I think she only had about 3 to 4 sessions with him. He studied in Spain at one point. Other than that, they are self taught, and really do not consider themselves to be that great....I guess they get the job done.
