Hey All I should really be asleep but i had an idea. Felt it would be cool if any of the forum members were up for doing something creative together. Here is my idea:- We make a cover song, that includes as many members as possible. We do this by firstly deciding on a track, then continue by creating a base MP3 track that has the roots of the song, i.e. say the piano melody and a clicktrack. All anybody needs is a microphone and their computer - lo-fi or pro would work, and there is a tonne of freeware and trial multi-track software that could be used. So, then all anyone who wants to contribute has to do, is download the base MP3 track. Then in multi-track softwware, make their own track (be it keys, vox, whatever), and then send it back to the forum. Eventually enough people do it, and we could compile Mr Pine in fully operatic choral style. Just an idea. Hee hee. Anyone Game? |

If no one can decide on a song quickly, I suggest just starting it yourself. Sometimes you have to take action to make action in these parts. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Mr. Pine sounds good. It's long enough that everyone could contribute at some point in the song. Maybe different people could sign up for different vocal parts, with different people for each verse, chorus and bridge. _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |

I'd suggest a WAV file instead of MP3. It'd be larger, but then you wouldn't have to worry about recompression. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |

I'm totally in, be it "Winter Song" or "Mister Pine" (though I'd prefer "Pine"). I'll play rhythm guitar and sing. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
