hello hero!
Sea Post King

I've been listening to Eisley for the past 2-3 years, but only recently have I really really started listening to them a lot (like almost everyday status). Anyway....I'm a singer/guitarist/pianist (hehe) and I like learning songs by bands I listen to....my first post was about trying to find sheet music for the piano parts in Eisley songs...which I found was hard you all too....so I guess I have to do it by ear, which takes me longer...but to the singing part. I'm not quite sure which songs Sherri sings lead or when Stacy sings lead! I can tell apart their voices...but on some songs, it's hard to tell....

but here are the songs I'm guessing who sings LEAD...please correct me if I'm wrong....

"One Day I Slowly Floated Away" (Stacy)
"Laughing City" (Sherri)
"Memories" (Stacy)
"Tree Tops" (Stacy)
"Vintage People" (Sherri)
"My Lovely" (Stacy)

me and my friend are probably gonna cover Eisley songs so....yeah. Very Happy

Sorry if I seem a little naive....I just wanna make sure.

Sherri sings lead on "My Lovely" and on "Tree Tops". And "Memories" it's both of them pretty equally.

Laughing City is Stacy during the verses. They share the melody on the chorus.

I haven't listened to the song in a while. I must have thought that because it's one that stacy wrote, correct?

You aren't the only one!

I remember being so confused over their vocals when I first listened to them...Or at least not really knowing how to tell one from another. Now that I know, it seems weird NOT to be able to tell them apart. Especially with their "older" voices.

Though, even now, I won't be ashamed to admit that until I saw "Taking control" being performed on some YouTube clip, I thought Sherri sang that first verse. Even on the older songs, I didn't realize it was Stacy on the "oooh-ooh oh oh oh" bridge/end part of My Lovely until I heard a live version or this one vocal part of SunFeet.

Even with the banter that are on some live clips, I realized that I can tell when it's Sherri, but I can't be sure when it's NOT her, if that makes sense. Confused

Maybe you can watch video interviews with them and figure it out?

I'm almost positive that it is Sherri who sings the first verse to Taking Control.

Yeah, I'm sorry. I know that. I need to think before I type.

When I said "Taking Control," I meant "We Feel Good." My bad. Rolling Eyes Razz "We Feel Good," I thought Sherri sang lead on the first verse until I saw it performed live. There we go, now.
