I personally can go for both. Honey also goes very well ... except NOT with gravy. I know people like jam and stuff ... but I gotta keep it simple! I like to put jam on my biscuits if I am having them for breakfast. If I am having my biscuits for dinner, like with mashed potatoes, and roast beef, or something, than I like them with gravy AND butter. Gravy is yummy; I love it. |

I love gravy. A lot. Who doesn't? But biscuits are fantastic too. My mom's really good at making them. I haven't got quite the hang of it yet. I eat many different things on biscuits depending on what the meal is. Butter and jam OR sausage/bacon and cheese if it's breakfast time; gravy for a dinner time; but my favorite is my mom's specialty of making this really good chocolate sauce and pouring that on the biscuits. It's so dang good. But alas, Jamie has declared this thread officially a gravy thread, as if gravy is more important a topic than biscuits. I love gravy, I do, but gravy would be nothing without the things it tops. Mashed potatoes. Biscuits. Various meats. Etc. What's fun is a gravy boat. Although my family has never had one.
