I was looking through old threads and found a John Mayer poll from 2003. Thought I'd start a new thread to discuss his albums, particularly his blues albums. WHERE THE HECK IS HEAVIER THINGS?!?! edit: Oh, and every one of his albums has been completely amazing. Each one gets better and better. Continuum is probably his best work so far. But, HEAVIER THINGS is my all time favorite album by anyone. |

I'd fix it if I could figure out how! yeah, you have to leave a blank poll option at the bottom or the last one doesn't show up. i don't know why. and, i really like all of his stuff, and i think it's cool how his music has evolved. it's always unsettling when a good artist goes in a new direction, but sometimes it is quite amazing (rilo kiley, eisley, john mayer, etc.) and rewarding. back to John Mayer, "Vultures" has got to be one of the best songs I've heard in a long time. seeing his set on "Live From Abbey Road" really got me back into his stuff and respect him further. |

"Vultures", "Heart of Life", "Neon", and "My Stupid Mouth" are highlights from his collection for me. Excellent artist. Any Given Thursday was amazing. |
