Today I was in a record store - Avalanche - for what was the first time in seven months... and saw Combinations under "indie artists - E". The price? £3.99!? ![]() _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? I'm glad to say I've never seen a used eisley cd for sale and I hit quite a few. I always hate seeing great albums for sale used. Some people don't get what they're missing...then again maybe they really needed the $2.00 they get per cd they sell to the store. |

Wah-lah! a new fan. When I heard about Eisley, I checked them out on myspace and couldnt get into them. I had a couple friends who listened to them and said they were really good. I didnt continue to explore their music. A few weeks or months later (can't remeber) I happened to be at a record store and "Combinations" was sitting on one of those listening displays. I listened to a few songs from the album and bought it. Unfortunately it usually doesn't happen that way for lots of people... I usually know exactly what I am going to buy when I go into a CD store. |

When I see a great CD on the cheap shelves that I already have, I'm tempted to pull out $3 and give it + the CD to some random person there and say, "Listen to this, and that will be thanks enough," and walk away. Haven't done it yet though... _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |

I got my Room Noises because a high school friend "hated it". I was so baffled, yet couldn't complain, i was happy to take it off his hands. I then played it for my Art Class, it was awesome. ![]() _________________ And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking And racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death |
