I was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about back stage demands that artists have when they perform.

Like so and so band wants
2 cases of water room temp
assorted meats and chesses
etc, etc.

Some have outlandish demans like the infamous Van Halen wanting all the green m & ms removed from the dish.

So what do you think some of eisley's back stage demands are?

5 cases of starbucks espresso double shot?

I'm betting it's nothing like Mariah Carey's list: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/backstagetour/mariah/mariah1.html

Maybe: clean bathroom sink in which to wash one's hair. Smile

Tour riders make me laugh. Especially when they're for bands that you haven't even heard of.

man. they have to put something in there to make sure the promoter is paying attention.

like 16 boxes of good and plenty.

or 6 boxes of nerds.

my rider would rule it would say something like:

6 pack of fuji water

1 quart container of grape koolaid already prepared and cold.

a 12 pack of coke with glasses and ice.

2 bags of combos cracker and cheese

1 box of crunch and munch butter toffee

sounds like a plan to me. if they gave me all that stuff, they wouldnt even have to pay me.

Iggy Pop's tour rider is one of the funniest documents I've ever read. As in, written in a very funny way. And 18 pages long! Do yourself a favor (you too Boyd.)

I imagine Eisley requests a number of wood blocks and metal bars so Weston can perform all kinds of feats of breaking and bending.

Further to that, a knife suitable for cutting a human thigh-bone in half.
