I hadn't listened to them before I saw them with Wolf Parade in July. They were a pleasant surprise! I hate having to describe bands though... I find it really hard because I never think I describe them well enough. But Wintersleep is kind of like Margot & the Nuclear So So's on crack -- louder, faster, more driven, more bass... more passion. I was really impressed with this Nova Scotian band... I hope to see them again someday. My favorite song of theirs is Laser Beams, which has this amazing crescendo that never fails to make me want to move emphatically. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. The Fray, Mae, or Anberlin. btw, about The Fray, are they still around?? I mean like, still a band, still releasing cds? _________________ Rachel ----------------------------------------- God always gives His best to those who leave the choice with Him. --Jim Elliot ------------------------------------------ I am only one, but still I am one.
