I don't see anything wrong with a new poll. Most of the people in the first poll aren't even here anymore, 4 years later.

A newer poll will also give more accurate data for the current forum population.

I don't think it's that 27 is the end of your life ... it's just good polling, that's all. There's only so many options you can put on a poll in here, and if the ages went any higher, you'd have to have bigger age ranges for each choice, and then the graph probably wouldn't be as descriptive as it could be ... besides, it's pretty accurate to assume that most forumers are in their teens and twenties. It's all very statistical. Wink

Well, if 27 is "the end of your life" ... I've exceded my demise by 25 years already (52) Wink Guess I must be "the old man " of Laughing City. But my Eisley fan daughter,Samantha, is only 9, so I suppose we balance out the bell curve of the poll Smile Honestly, though, I think I'm only a year or two older than Boyd... and Eisley ( and Samantha! ) keep me young Very Happy

27 is the end of the good part of your life. You're facing the big three-oh and after that it's just 10 short years 'til you hit 40. That's when things really start to fall apart and you're basically just a walking corpse, if you're lucky.

I have 9 months until I'm 40. I used to think like you do, until I grew older. 40 is way old, until you're 35. At that point, you will see it's not that old, really.

I used to think I would just keel of at 21 like that old MTV show in the early 90's (definitely dating myself there)

Later I got spooked but the whole 27 thing with Hendrix, Morrison, and Joplin, and at that point had been a musician for a while. I joked to make light of my insecurity, and told other musician friends I'd reached my rock and roll expiration date. Then at 29 it was like that all over, the 2nd rock and roll expiration date, like, Sell By, and then Use By.

Well, at 32, I feel like I'm in my prime, and always find it cool that younger bands are bridging the gap between me and people my Nieces and nephews ages. Good music is timeless/ ageless, as is good taste. Hopefully the people from 4 years ago are still fans and just not online so much, no should "grow out" of Eisley better to grow with them.
