Some kind of oversight going on here.

Not blaming you the band. Obviously this isn't your fault, but could we get a high quality MP3 download link or something?

Thanks so much. Great EP other than the chipmunk song.

Edit: Hijacking post to add links!

Here's Boyd discussing the track on Trolleywood: http://www.eisley.com/journals/trolleywood/_37031/

Here's the link to the fixed MP3 download: http://eisley.com/Away_we_go.mp3

Somebody give me a copy and I'll change the tempo in audacity and see how much is repairable.

That's great to know.
Firefox has issues with actually refreshing pages.
I was refreshing Trolleywood to see the update and got nothing.
Had to open CHROME to see it.

Lol@the name. I don't think you will, since no one really wants the song as is. I-D-K, though.

If you are bored and have garageband you can drag the mp3 file into it as a new track, press ctrl+alt+g then click the audio track, check "Follow Pitch & Tempo" under the editing section (scissors button) and change the tempo to -1 to get fairly close, and -2 if you want to hear what sherri sounds like as stacy! hahah.

I did a google search on how to do it in garageband because I'm not about to get up and plug my interface in the other room to my computer for pro tools Cool

Holy hyperbole Batman! This isn't nearly as bad as you schmucks made it out to be, especially considering it's just a macbook track.

Anyway, here it is transposed down a half step, and at 76bpm rather than 82bpm (approximately, I had to guess since I don't have a good metronome at home.

It's probably not right, but any more tempo augmentation would probably create aliasing.

No one made this song out to be bad, as far as I remember.

Well, I can go ahead and do that for you. The piano part was gorgeous, but the rest was a complete yawner.

I was referring the amount of damage done to the original recording, not the quality of the song itself.

Boyd posted a fixed version in Trolleywood.
http://www.eisley.com/journals/trolleywood/_37031/#more
It's runtime is much shorter than the download earlier on this thread but it doesn't sound any different. Confused

Anyway, I likes it.

I like the normal version of 'Away We Go'. I think everyone expected it to be bad, from the preview on Amazon. But it's actually quite nice.

^I think it was actually garnering the most enthusiasm of the GB tracks from the preview despite the chipmunk-iness.
