Read her senior thesis from Princeton now, before it is taken down again (it's been taken down everywhere it has been posted)... Or if you don't have time to read the whole thing, read the last 2 pages. http://infidelsarecool.com/elena-kagan-thesis.pdf As for the poll, her playing softball would have no effect on her being qualified or not qualified for the court. Absurd question, really. Who hasn't played softball? |

Also, that's a long ass thesis (130 pages) for a Bachelor's degree. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

That is a given, isn't it? Acceptance rate of 10%. 97% of those admitted were in the Top 10% of their high school class. Appears they have high academic standards. As you have not taken my bait, I will not take yours... ![]() |

It worked out for Thurgood Marshall and William Rehnquist. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

from a brief on the supreme court case US government vs Stevens, she is quoted as saying this..... “Whether a given category of speech enjoys First Amendment protection depends upon a categorical balancing of the value of the speech against its societal costs.” You guys need to read up on this lady. She's kinda scary. This is far from the first quote she has made like this, but this one illustrates her feelings on the first amendment well. I'm not sure we want someone who feels this way about the first amendment in the supreme court. Supressing free speech is a can of worms I don't think we want to open up. _________________ ![]() |
