I just returned home from the show at Red Rocks. All you Eisley fans be warned that if you are going to a show to get to have the chance to see Eisley, show up early. We got to Red Rocks at 7:00, because our tickets said that the show started at 7:30. By the time we got to our seats, Eisley had one and a half songs left. I was so bummed.

I have no idea how or why this happened, but it is such a downer, I can't even explain it....

So, all of that to say, get there way early, because you never know about the whims of promoters, apparently..

The song and a half that I saw was great... and Coldplay was amazing, despite the intense rain and cold.

I'm out...

Hey,
just to let you know, Boyd said, the venue without any warning, because of the weather, pushed the shows up about 30 minutes. Supposedly, they announced it on some radio stations, but thunderstorms and snow were in the forecast.

I just want to make sure everyone understands that it had nothing to do with the band. It was the venue's decision. It's just one of the drags of being the opener...

Boyed took the time to e-mail me, in the middle of no sleep and lots of driiving, to let me know what was up. That is so great and so kind. Just want to give a public "THanks" for that.

If weather is invovled, I guess you can't get too mad. Of all things most futile, shaking your fist at the weather is up there...

Peace,
G-Monkey

luckily, i got to the venue a lil earlier...we ended up with 3rd row...caught eisley's set, talked to the band (Chauntelle and Jon mostly) during Sexsmith's set, caught the end of that, and proceeded to have my ass handed to me by coldplay and the rain. what an intense show.
