1. Eisley is awesome. The fact that anyone can go see a show as good as Coldplay puts on, and still be thinking about the first opening band says a lot. Marvelous Things=quality.

2. The sound was awesome, the drum kit especially was sounding quite excellent. One problem though: I wish Chantelle had been turned up more in the mix. She was playing some leads that were barely audible from where I was standing, (Stage right, about 20 feet from the stage, right in the throw of the speakers.)

3. After the show, I asked Sherri if they were ever going to play Head Against the Sky again, and she said something to the effect of "I hardly even remember that song." That makes me very sad, because that song is ridiculously good. It sounds as though Head Against the Sky may be the new Pretender. Sad

4. I finally got Laughing City (and a T-shirt too). I'm going to have to agree with a lot of you that it could have been produced much better. Over The Mountains and Telescope Eyes sound rushed to me. However, I Wasn't Prepared and Laughing City are very, very good on the EP. If Head Against the Sky is retired, I Wasn't Prepared may have to become my new favorite Eisley song .

It was kind of hard to hear the in between talk from them though. That was the only problem with that show. Everything else was fantastic.

And yeah, I've been listening to I Wasn't Prepared over and over and it has to be my favorite too.

head against the sky is ridiculously good. i really hope it doesn't go the way of pretender!

maybe we should start a society for the preservation of head against the sky or SPHAS (pronounced sfahs)... we could make hats and buttons. it would be fun!

maybe they'd set up checks at airports to identify people who have sphas!! which could possibly prevent the world domination of eisley since those peple would not be allowed to leave the country Confused

Eisley is so contagious though i don't think that preventing us from leaving the country would help. i mean they've already infected you in great britain. its the disease of the new millenium! it can travel via the internet!

everyone will soon have SPHAS...

Mark (Kappa) - I hate you.
Bah, perhaps I shouldnt have given up on the tickets.. I wasn't able to get TWO tickets on ticketmaster way back shortly after this tour was announced.. and didn't want to get two individual tickets.. and sometimes it wouldn't even pull up a single ticket... and eBay prices were insane. Meh.

I don't really hate you. Just not looking forward to having to wait so long to see Eisley again.

I thought the Ebay prices were pretty dang good. I had pretty much decided I wasn't going to be able to make it, and then my friend called up saying that it looked like we could get tickets for the floor for $60-$70ish on Ebay, so at the last minute we decided to try and get some tickets. We ended up buying 8 tickets for an average price of $50. They were all on the floor, so I was approx 20ft. from the stage for Eisley's set. They were $35 face value, so I figure $50 is a pretty good deal for a sold out show. Especially when you consider that overnight FedEx shipping is included in that average.

So check this out, Gregor: At one point, because of the way we had to buy them, we thought we would have more tickets than we needed, and I almost called you to offer you a ticket. Then we got up there, and it turned out that one of the people we were supposed to meet up there didn't show. So, we really did have an extra ticket, which we just sold to some random person. Now do you hate me? Smile
