Just wanted to say I saw you guys last night and thought you were so awesome. The guy who played right after you I could of done with out. He was like a bad contemporary john mayer version of Jackson Browne, ughh. No offense to him, just not my style. I wish I could of heard more of you. You need to come back to Chicago and play one of our chiller venues like the DoubleDoor or something. That would be so so very cool. Anyway I really enjoyed the show, you guys have such great songs and incredible harmony, absolutely beautiful. Pleasantly surprised quitely amazed _________________ My body is floating down the muddy river..... |

Yeah, you guys were amazing. When I first heard you guys play, I knew I was going to be a fan for life...or something. Anywho, yeah, you guys do need to come back to Chicago like at the Metro club or the Aragon. I noticed that a lot of people thought you were spactacular, and we welcome any bands of any style to come back to Chicago. (In other words, dear God help us, we need more tourists.) _________________ "What's with these homies dissing my girl?" - Weezer "I think I know I mean a yes but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree." - Beatles My Livejournal |

Aww man, I'm still so mad that I missed it. But at least I have a good excuse, I'm still in Austria. But I'll be back to the windy city soon enough, and back to go to Cornerstone. For those who dont know it, check www.cornerstonfestival.com Especially those from Chicago. Its the best fest around, and by the way (Moss) Eisley played there last year. |

I live in Indiana about a two hour drive from Chicago. I went to UIC figuring I could snag a single ticket from a scalper. No such luck. What a disappointment. Only the second time I've ever failed to get into a show. Never mind the drive, the $10 to park and another hour and a half vainly searching for a ticket, what really sucked was being so close that I could hear Eisley from the parking garage. I was so looking forward to seeing the band and bringing home an Eisley t-shirt to show off. At least I can say that I "heard" them live. |

I went to the Coldplay concert last night, and boy did I enjoy the opening group "Eisley"! All of the people around me were talking positive about the group after they performed. I wish I could say positive things about that Ron Sexsmith guy. The last time I heard an opening group that I really liked was "Travis," at the "Oasis" concert a few years back. After that day, I saw Travis three more times! I hope Eisley comes back soon so I can see them perform!!! Maybe they can perform for my 21st b-day party!!! I'LL PAY CASH!!!! $$$ |

gRegor, I live in Plymouth, about a half hour south of South Bend. Not much going on up here. I couldn't even find the Eisley cd in any store. I had to order it from Amazon. The rush delivery cost me more than the cd itself. The next time they're in the area, I'm definitely going to see them. I could make out some of the songs from where I stood outside last nigt. I'd love to see Eisley play one of the small clubs or theaters in Chicago or Indy. |

This band was unreal. I have seen over 70 shows and have not been shocked at a opening band like this in a long time. Maybe phantom planet before Incubus. I was on the floor in front of the right speakers and the sound was seriously amazing, almost perfect. I was astonished about the quality of hte sound, however i did assume it was the quality of coldplays equipment, along with their good sound. Met the girls after the show, holy shitt they are young, i thought they would be older. Surprised they were signed by Warner Bros. I bought the cd, but i think their live versions were funkier and you could appreciate the instruments more so then the ep version. They seemed drowned out in the ep version to over power the vocals. They should not do that cause their sound was awesome |
