We're coming....or going....!@#!$# we're leaving to to to Ft. Worth for the Buzz Oven show there at Ridglea Theatre tonight...show starts at 8:00pm (buzzoven.com) but Stacy's vocals are....hmmm....are not working. I haven't spoken to her yet this morn. Trying to let her sleep and get healthy, but they practiced last night til late...without her singing. It's not the best scenario... She has 1/2 the vocal load...both in lead and in harmonies. It's a sad situation but the show WILL go on.

Hope you guys will still love them if they make a mess of their beautiful music. Vocals are a huge factor, as you know....

maybe I'll get up there and sing the parts...sortof a manly baratone-like addition.

Anyway, see you tonight.

Boyd

hmm that's a bummer.. perhaps Chentelle can sing you know, a little closer to the mic Wink .. but uhh if it's a throat/lost voice thing, I think that garlic tea is supposed to work.. I can't remember exactally, but a friend of mine who was singing and acting in this musical had lost her voice and another friend of mine suggested that... I can't remember if it worked or not, or how to make it, however, at the very least Stacy will be able to scare off all of the guys with her newly attained 'dragon breath' hehe Razz

Jesus, I hope she's all right. I'll pray for her and hope she'll feel better. Vocals are a key thing in pop music.

Yikes. "But the show will go on", and thats what counts. Im shure the fans will appreciate it, unlike the crap, say, Creed and Pearl Jam like to pull?

Have a good show!

yes, Stacy and Sherri were a bit under the weather, but they still sounded great. Such pros.
Boyd will disagree on the quality of the show, but it really was good. If they hadn't told us they weren't feeling too good we would have never known.
They played for about an hour. All the songs from the ep, new ones like "they all surround me", and "marvelous things" - both great, "Mr. Pine", um...one called "I'm Sorry" (I think).
Great set. Get some rest and feel better girls, and we'll see you next weekend...

P.

p.s. great new t-shirts and sticker! poster is nice too Boyd - good job!

do they adjust Telescope Eyes to the ep version, or play it like it was originally?

I'll have to throw this in while I can, the vocals were great. I could tell they were holding back, but still putting their hearts into it, and I respect that about them. The sickness didn't take away from the music, it just gave the singing a different sound. Overall Eisley majorly impressed me last night, it was worth the near-curfew ticket. I love to see bands get that into their songs, thanks for the great show.

Last night was the first time i saw Eisley live, and wow. Sick-shmick, they were amazing. I was absolutley mesmerized. Three thumbs up, and i hope.... no pray i can make it to the Dallas show. They're one of the few recent bands that are great on their album, and even better live. Great show. Great.
