We need to find a local show sound guy. I'm hard on sound guys. I get frustrated when they don't really pay attention to their job...and, when they can't make good bands sound good... I have lot's to say on this topic, but won't get into it. We should begin a search for a really good sound guy. But, I'm warning you...he'd have to be an artist...a genius....a musician....not just a technoidial gear head.

Those Ellis kids are good. You know it. Matt recorded our new single and he's getting very good. Daniel should be back from Full Sail soon too. You should ask them.

Creep....interesting parallel. Of course, it technically isn't a fit yet. Nobody knows whether T.E.'s will get any radio attention beyond what it has - which is minimal. It could be if folks call the station.

As we listened to our Radiohead marathon on the way home from Tennessee, we realized that without Creep there might never have been anymore songs...and if we were in a Back to the Future movie, static would have come over the air, and we'd be driving in silence for hours. No OK Computer...nothing. It doesn't exist.

It's not a real call to arms, but it makes me want to call the Edge myself.
I don't really care if they play T.E. but if it's Eisley's "Creep", I guess the spins are important.

It was the quickest analogy I could make. Not entirely accurate, but... it kinda worked?

I still like Creep. And I kinda like Telescope Eyes, but I still think the unradio version is cooler. Who cares what I think though. Rolling Eyes

what i meant was that we probably like playing T.E. just as much as radiohead likes playing Creep. the fact that its kinda our only radiofriendly song isnt that big of a deal. i wasnt focusing on that.

Telescope Eyes was a favorite among the girls in my grade that I would show the ep to at the beginning of the school year, the seemed entranced by the keyboards. Though some could consider it the "mainstream" song of the CD, hey, everybody needs a crowd favorite, ya know? I thought the song was a great way to open up the first ep.
