I've been posting here for awhile now and finally got around to officially joining. WOO! My favorite Ramen noodles are of the wide and illustrious chicken variety, I get in trouble a lot for reading outside during thunderstorms (I love em), my room's cluttered but not dirty, and I have boasas stickers sitting next to my computer.

Hi.

I suppose I should reply...my mere 8 posts are a tell-tale sign that I haven't been around the site long, but I can honestly say that I've been a fan for a long while.

The first time I heard "eisley" (then "the towheads") was several (at least four) years ago when they played a set the last night of a teen mania camp that I went to one summer. I remember hearing a cover of a chasing furies song and thinking it was amazing...the next thing I know they're in rollingstone & opening for coldplay... it's pretty incredible. Smile

Hi everybody,

My name is Ash. I'm Chinese but everyone I know seems to think I'm white for some reason. When I graduated and people saw that I had a chinese middle name, they all asked, "Why do you have a Chinese name? You're not chinese." But i am. But I am....

I saw Eisley as I walked into the Gorge for Sasquatch. As good as a lot of the other bands were (Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, Flaming Lips), Eisleys set was the only one that I walked away thinking, "That was way better than I expected". Okay...maybe the Flaming Lips set was really cool...but that's only because Eisley went up on stage with them.

I play in a band and I'll post some links to mp3's (in the shameless section) cause I need objective opinions so we can get better at our craft. And because y'all seem like nice people.

If anyone is from Vancouver, come tot he Railway Club on July 2nd. We're playing with a great band called Hinterland.

Okay...

I think everyone is asleep now.

Bye.

No really...

That's the end of my post. Stop reading. There's nothing left.

I have nothing more to say.

I'm sure only a few will see this because it'll be all the way at the end of 6 lengthy pages but, hi, I'm Skyler. I'm a girl. I saw Eisley at RedRocks and even though I only caught the last 2 songs, I was totally floored. Tonight I just found their EP at Borders and at $6 I had to beg my mum for some money to buy it. I really really REALLY love that Tree Tops song. I put it on repeat. Sigh. Its so pretty! If I had a band that's exactly what it would sound like. So yeah that's my new favorite song...which is great because it's by a girl. Finally a band with girls in it that deserves its hype!

YES! I can die happy now.

I love you baby, I love the way that you walk. I love you baby, I love the way that you talk. I really like it when you tickle me...

Oh Brak... I miss you.

A couple friends of mine once did a live version of the space ghost song that was truly priceless. They're both tonedeaf with minimal senses of rhythm. MmmmMmm. It should have been recorded and distributed as the new Abs Of Steel Volume #59 video, for many, many calories were burnt that day. Besides, there were sing-alongers and happiness throughout the surrounding lands. God bless it all.
