I've seen where people were looking for sheet music for piano and guitar tabs, and hopefully I can help. I checked out the tabs at http://eisleytab.cjb.net/ but they just had chords and the solo. So I tabbed out the whole song (based on the website version because I don't have the EP yet) in Powertab Editor. It's a free program that lets you create and view guitar sheet music and tab and play it back with midi. I've done my best on the piano/key parts and you'll be able to view the sheet music for those parts in the powertab score (I think staff notation for guitar and piano are pretty much the same but I'm not sure). The bass score is there too. I hope this helps.

The program is available for download here:

cool! Very Happy

I use guitar pro for that kind of stuff. I tabbed Telescope Eyes and Blackened Crown (the whole songs)

I´ll try and tab some more songs when I get the time

I actually looked at your GP tabs yesterday for those two songs. Great work, by the way. I just use Powertab because I'm used to it and it's free.

You'll probably find staunch supporters of both programs. I started with Guitar Pro but switched because I didn't feel like spending the money for the full program. Though I don't use GP4 to tab (just to view tabs), it has some great features. One day soon (who knows when), there will be a version 2.0 of Powertab that will allow for a lot more stuff. You can read about it here: http://www.power-tab.net/v20/preview.htm

I like the look that power tab scores have, plus the program is free. There are probably more GP tabs available, but the powertabs.net site is really growing. To answer your question, I don't really know if Powertab is better than GP4. Whenever version 2.0 for powertab comes out, I think it's zero cost and new features will outweigh Guitar Pro's current features and cost.

I just don't think I have the time to work on tabs with another program. I get a lot of requests and my to-do list of songs is pretty long for powertab. But thanks anyway.

I just finished a powertab for Marvelous Things now that I have the EP.

Vegetable, if you have time and want to, feel free to convert those two into GP and send them in (and make any changes you feel necessary). I've had my powertabs stolen and converted in guitar pro format before, but I'd rather let you work on them than have someone else take them.

It would be pretty funny if you did, though in an ironic sort of way.

Haha, Scheller. It's Josh from CGR, who told you to listen to Copeland and Death Cab. I have no real reason for writing this other than the fact that I've talked to you before, and it makes me feel good.

Josh.

And it does my heart good to see a familiar face (or rather a familiar text?).

hey! I already converted your tabs to guitar pro
would you like me to add your e-mail to the file info? (I already put "tabbed by scheller", is that ok?)

That's great! I'll check them out when you post them. Don't worry about my email. Also, are you planning to add drums? I'm thinking about doing some more off the EPs but I haven't decided yet.
