'twas interesting reading, new board's back, the conversation is starting again: if you could make Eisley play a cover song, what would it be? Someone said (okay, it was me) that Semisonic's "Secret Smile" would be great, and i'm standin' by that one. _________________ "Die Sonne scheint noch" -- Sophie Scholl <3 <3 <3 |

It even has a line about growing wings! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

The band did cover a Beatles song for awhile. Perhaps it's something to think about. Of course, to be very real about this - also think about which song they should cut from their own tunes at a live show. A 45 minute set is..what, about 10 songs? So... if this was going to be their set list, which song would you remove? The Escaping Song Lady of the Wood Lost at Sea Golly Sandra Trolly Wood Just Like We Do Plenty of Paper They All Surrounded Me Sun Feet Marvelous Things Vintage People Silver Bugs Memories I Wasn't Prepared oh wait. My list is 14. You have to out 5 of these to add a cover. sorry. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. i would love to hear Eisley cover the Boy Who Destroyed The World by AFI. that, or the insanely catchy TATU song all the things she said. _________________ http://www.audioscrobbler.com/user/Gameboybob/ http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=gameboybob http://www.myspace.com/thegameboy |

Eisley are good at conversations in their songs, they'd grasp it's darkness really well and it's be nice to hear if they stripped it down or not (aka. Nirvana). _________________ "A little less love, a little more common decency." - Kurt Vonnegut |
