... just slower. please do this song justice by laying it to rest in peace forever. please don't make me cry by putting this on the album. okay i know my pleas are futile but i thought i'd continue my bitching at least for another week.

Things like that happen all the time.

Example, the chord progression, in a different key, for With or Without you by U2, is the same for Weezer's My Name Is Jonas. There are only so many chords to be played and so many ways to play them.

there are cases
like "I promised myself" by Nick Kamen has the SAME chord progression and rythm than "A Little Respect" by Europe
the resemblance is... disturbing!

and btw, telescope eyes is a good song, I like it and I find no reason to "kill" it... like pretender...

I don't see how it's a "single" considering the downright creepy, premo lyrics.

if its the same as when I come around, then its the same as glisterine by bush, but regardless telescope eyes is a great song. If that is your complaint, you should hate half the music out there.

there is nothing new under the sun.

^just a thought.

hey now...
don't forget the classic similarity between "I Want A New Drug" and "Ghostbusters" - hehe.

Telescope Eyes is a great song. My borther's former freshman English teacher loves the song. And he is one of the biggest music snobs around.
