The best night of my life by far. Tonight was the Eisley concert. They played a truly amazing show. I enjoyed every second of it. I literally couldn't have imagined a better show! So yeah the show was great. On to the meeting!!!! So directly after their set I made my way to the back to buy me some merch. As soon as I got out of the line and bought my stuff they were standing right there! Oh my gosh I was so nervous! I went up to them and before I even got a word out Stacy and Sherri stuck their hands out! Like I didn't know who they were. LOL. They ALL signed a poster for me and I got a group shot with them. After that I had a chance to talk with the wonderful Chauntelle. Whom seemed more interested in my life then most of my family lol. When I first talked to her I was so nervous I think she knew it tho...Then my dumb ride bailed out on me when I was about to leave and so I had to go back and wait 20 more minutes cos I couldn't get back in and the bus didn't come til' 935pm, so I stood around and then decided to speak with them again. Chauntelle was like do you have a ride??? Yeah I did! LOL Kim and Boyd raised such polite kids! I won't share every detail but I probably talked to her about 10 minutes. She said she noticed me in the crowd singing along to ever song and how she appreciated it! She also complimented me on my shirt. How awesome is that! We talked about her daughter(no details folks, cos I respect her like that), family, life, school, music, and God. She mentioned to me about how wonderful it is to meet other Christians! At a show like Snow Patrol I guess they don't meet to many Christians. I asked her if she missed her family and boyfriend and she was raving about how wonderful they both are. I told her I am a big Xanga fan and she said it was cool that I read all her and her family and friends stuff. I expressed my admiration for Boyd and how he is such a power house. We talked a bit more about her family as well! She said it kinda sucks that her li'l bro and sister can't be there! I would imagine it would be rough! I am so estatic I cannot believe I met and shook all their hands. This is a huge deal to me. I learned so much about her and she asked me a lot of stuff it was just amazing.! I also talked to Weston a bit and he was discussing the technical suckiness that has plaqued their shows. I told him that even though it wasn't the best they still kicked it! An amazing show...Purely wonderful. Thanks Eisley! You are so sweet! So many more details but I like to keep em in my head! Oh yeah they siad they were all suffering from a bit of soar throat so excuse them for the croakiness...LOL. Pray for em guys! LOADS iof pix when I develop them! |

I was standing behind the guy who shouted to the stage. He never said anything demeaning towards the band. In fact, he knew all about the band and seemed to be a big fan. This kid knew all about their origin, influences and start-up. He only had good things to say. That said, please don't begin a post wishing evil upon one, then end it by stating how 'Christian' you are. A comment like that is nothing like what a true Christian would ever dream to say. How contradictory is that? At any rate, I agree Eisley was truly amazing. I've never heard of them before, but was completely impressed by their style - a heavenly blend of melody and rhythm.
