Yeah, they played summer of 2002 on the New Band Showcase. That's the first time I saw them, actually. It seems doubtful they would play there again; kind of all depends on their management. What boyd has said in the past was that management wanted to keep their schedule more open if a touring opportunity came up, so they were avoiding "one-off" dates. This year I think recording was the conflict. I'd love to see them go back, though. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

Yeah, cornerstone if where I first heard of them, which is where i think a lot of people on this board 1st found them. It would be great to see them there again on mainstage or the HM stage. Maybe someday. _________________ "Fame is lust to be loved, and fortune is to live off the fat of the land" - Lee Bozeman "Throw your home work on to the fire, and go out and find the one that you love." -Morrissey |

and this is my own little thing, but it would be cool if they covered a Luxury song, not that I'm obsessed or anything. _________________ "Fame is lust to be loved, and fortune is to live off the fat of the land" - Lee Bozeman "Throw your home work on to the fire, and go out and find the one that you love." -Morrissey |

I haven't heard a ton of Luxury, though I like what I've heard and know several people (whose musical opinions I respect) that love them, so they're cool in my book. It would be awesome to hear a cover. Are they around anymore or no? _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

Cornerstone was the first time I heard them too, then I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into a Coldplay show the next year. Anyway, me and a friend asked Chauntelle in Columbus if they ever planned on going back. Apparently the label is worried about tying them to a "Christian" festival as it may lead to disapproval from the non-Christian public. Atleast that's what I remember her saying. I don't know, it was loud and I couldn't hear her that well. _________________ Brother, can you spare a penny? -- www.HelpAdam.tk

Luxury: no and yes no: the lead singer live in Kansas City, the bassist lives in ny, the lead guitar lives in GA. so they are kinda broke up yes; but they are releasing a new record on northern records in october/november. it should be amazing and will be my most anticipated album ever (5yrs) _________________ "Fame is lust to be loved, and fortune is to live off the fat of the land" - Lee Bozeman "Throw your home work on to the fire, and go out and find the one that you love." -Morrissey |
