Eyewitnesses complain that "yellowbeans" is too many syllables.

During the past few days, customers at Best Eatery Around, Now have noticed some peculiar yellow pieces of food popping up in their entrees.

"I couldn't believe it," commented a regular, "it was just sitting there on my plate... (she trailed off into a dazed silence)."

It, referring to a yellow greenbean, happened five days ago at the Tables household.

"We had sat down to eat supper and I seized the opportunity to let my family experience this band." bellows Mr. Tables as he grabs a cd from his collection. "They're called Eisley. My nephew loaned me the cd and I couldn't get enough of (them)."

Mr. Tables' son would only answer to his nickname "Veg" (an unhealthy addiction to Pizza Hut's Veggie-Lovers). Veg continues the story, "After ten seconds of the first song, my greenbeans started bugging out."

His younger sister sheepishly interjects, "No Veggie, they were more like jittering."

"So my greenbeans were all jittering all around my plate and they kept going faster and faster. My dad turned off the music and they stopped. And then he turned it back on just to see what would happen, and it was weird. They started jittering again and then.. then one suddenly switched yellow."

It seems the remainder of the greenbeans on the plates that night followed suit; each one was yellow by bedtime.

The Tables family conjectures that the color change must be an oddball tribute to Eisley. Their hypothesis: Eisley's tour with Coldplay was a career accelerating extravaganza as such was Coldplay's 2000 smash-hit "Yellow" (which introduced many to the English band). So "Yellow", in some Matrix-causality mind-benderish way, jump-started Eisley; thus the connection. We would have never guessed greenbeans are so creative.

Since that fateful day, most greenbeans around the town have "yellowed."

"The yellowing is spreading through my fields! Who knows what this will do to sales, " worries a local farmer.

But, a few restruants around the area, such as Best Eatery Around, Now, forge on with a positive attitude.

"At first the plate was too yellow with potatoes and yellowbeans, " coos Best Eatery's head chef, "but, I've since remedied that with undercooked unripened potatoes. The potatoes are green then and it's all good."

When asked for comment, Eisley was silent. We think they're just a tad bean-wildered. Har Har.
