insomnia - n.
Chronic inability to fall asleep or remain asleep for an adequate length of time.

Doctors are now blaming video games, and the internet for teenagers and young adults insomnia. Also, the high amount of coffee todays youth drinks.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that..

how bout you?

i've always had a hard time falling asleep, but i think its just my lack of exercise and stress. i don't think its anything really psychological or anything.

I voted yes simply because, though I know that I am tired at 11:30 and have nothing to do on the internet, I get online anyways and stay on until 1 AM and then get mad at myself. But I fall asleep quickly, most of the time. When I can't get to sleep, I blame it on the minimal amount of exercise that I get during the day. Most of the time, you'll find me sitting. Just...sitting there.......thinking. It's excruciatingly horrid. I don't know why I do it. Maybe so other people will think I have mental problems. That's always fun.

i used to have real bad insomnia. for a whole semester i felt like a zombie beause i couldn't hardly sleep. now it is better but i still have to take a prescription sleeping pill sometimes. i take it whenever i need to be up early or if i'm sleeping anywhere but my own bed. and those real bad nights where it's 4 a.m. and i can tell that i'm still wide awake and i'm bored of laying there. i did not used to be this way but oh well. i'm learning to deal with it.

back in high school i had a lot of problems with sleeping. i think it was caused by a lot of troubles i was having with friends.

but now that i'm in college i have no trouble with sleeping... that is... when i try to go to sleep. Wink actually going to bed is a different story Laughing

I'm up on average for about 19 hours a day, so aside from mental rambling getting to sleep usually isn't a problem for me.

I usually have to take a nice ol' chug of Nyquil.
I may even be a addict of it. Because if i dont drink it, i dont sleep. Ive gone nearly 3 weeks recently, with maybe...12 hours of sleep..

ugh.

Well it is 5:03am now, and I got up at 5:45(ish) am so you tell me. All day NO coffee!

In my sleep deprived state I have become a zombie. A ZOMBIE I SAY!(<more drama than shyviolet's zombie reference.jk. I should really stop watching Sideshow Mel from the Simpsons. TV is really scewing with my head. anyways...) A zombie who will obey anyone who ask me to do their bidding.(Good or evil. Preferably good b/c I have a clean record, and I'd like to keep it that way.)

Geez, now I'm porbably going to hallucinate all day. That really happens when you go too long without sleep. You have nightmares while your are awake! But it might take a little longer than a day.
