I talked with the music manager at work (Hastings) and he said it was ok to have a midnight release party the night before the release of the album! Woohoo!

Awesome! I had been meaning to ask you if you could see about that. Razz

Shall we conspire? Chad and Courtney were in on our last attempt. It would be great to have it for real this time.

Nice work. Cool

well, WMUC will get a promo release of the cd, and i will be RIGHT there to grab it and review it, days possibly weeks before the album hits your midnight party.
Ryan and i will have a sleep over, and i'll rip it to my computer and listen to it every day. MWAHAHAHAHA

I was actually just about to force Chastity to start planning one of these for the LP release.

The first time we attempted to do this, it was kind of interesting. http://www.eisley.org/viewtopic.php?t=2089&postdays=0&postorder=asc&hi ghlight=marvelous+things+release+party&start=0

I wonder if the band members would be in town for the party.

when the last tool album came out, a couple of my friends had a campout outside our circuit city. of course, circuit city didn't open till 10, so they looked rather silly!

Y'all from Tyler and East Texas - the homeland in general - keep us posted. (By "us" I mean me.)

Depending on my schedule, I might make it back home that night. It's very possible... Perhaps some of the other boardies from here would want to go, but I don't know...

that would be cool to be at... I'll have to make some calls to places in town when it gets closer to the release date to ensure they [the stores] put it on order.
