I saw a glimpse of Chauntelle's pedalboard in the V Fest pics, and all I could make out was the Line 6 delay. Any chance we could get closeups of Chauntelle and Sherri's pedalboards? Please.....

I know you love taking pics, otherwise I'd feel bad about asking.....

Got me, Boyd! I'm a super gear head....I've been playing every instrument I could get my hands on since age 10 or so. My wife is so good to me, the rooms in our house keep filling up with drums, guitars, amps, old keyboards, heh, 2 Rhodes now....

Thanks, Boyd, you are the man!

I thought that i might answer a couple of your questions on the pedal boards. I built Chauntelle's pedal board for her before the Coldplay tour. It is a solid birch board outlined with C-channel alluminum. Its coved with the same stuff you cover road cases with. Complete with 1/4 inch corners, stainless steel handles, and rubber feet to keep it from sliding around.

The pedals on it are an older Ibanez Ts7 tube screamer, a new blue box Fulltone fulldrive 2 with the vintage voiceing switch, a line 6 DL4 delay, and a Boss TU2 tuner. It is powered by a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power II and conected with George L cables. She runs stereo out of the DL4 to both her Fender hot Rod deville, and to a back up amp, a 67 fender bassman head.

I havent built sherri's board yet but she also uses a Fulltone Fulldrive II a boss dl5 delay pedal and a Boss Tu2 to her Vox AC30. Just a bit of useless info for all the gear heads out there.

That's a nice setup for both Sherri and Chauntelle! It always cool to see what people are using for effects. I need to get some George L's, my tone is being drained, but that's okay for my bedroom. Wink
You know, for Eisley have such cool gear, I've got to wonder...WHERE ARE THE JAZZMASTERS? They're definately one of my favorite guitars.

I just built my own pedal board out of scrap wood around the house. Nothing hightech, but I custom fit it to an old suitcase. It's a lot handier to have the pedals all together.

I forgot to mention that Eisley should send the gear info over to Guitargeek.com. It's a Guitar/Bass/Amp/Effects listing page for tons of cool bands. They make little neat images based on the set up. It's sure to satisfy the gearhead in us all.

Thanks, KThor. The pics of her board from V fest looked almost exactly like mine....I built my pedalboard exactly the same as you did, except mine was 3/4 inch plywood instead of birch.

I use a Boss Tu-12 tuner with an AB box, and 2 Keeley modded pedals (he does amazing work, www.robertkeeley.com), a Blues Driver and a Rat, both modded with extra, yet smoother gain and a useable tone knob. Of course at the end, its the Line6 DL-4 into my AC15.

Kthor, did she get a custom flight case built for it?

In answer to theenvycorps question: no she doesnt have a custom flight case for it. It is in an old suitcase that was laying around. I thought that would be cool because back in the day the girls carried everything in vintage kabooduls (sp) and cases. I finished the board only days before the Coldplay tour and their road cases had already been built for the rest of their gear. And the only reason i used birch instead of plywood (because it is heavier) is that birch doesnt have the tendency to warp or crack when exposed to such extreme differences in temp. and humidity like when your on a full scale tour, that pine or plywood do.

And to Mhat, there was some recording with a jazzmaster when the band was in la. And im in totall agreement with you on mutual admiration for the guitar. I own a 1962 jazzmaster in ocean turqoiuse. Thats enough jibberish for now.

Crazy....i use an old samsonite suitcase for mine, like 3 bucks at goodwill. I should post a pic sometime.

Good idea on the birch, though, I'm making a friend one and I'll find some birch for it.
