Yes Radiohead would be better with Eisley, but I like RHCP better. They've been my biggest obsesion since I could spit out the chorus of "Under the Bridge" so since I was like 3 or 4. _________________ Dad: What were you simling at? easy compromise: just wait and open for the pink floyd reunion tour, should be easy, boyd should call waters right now and tell him its settled _________________ Bærinn minn/ Bærinn minn og þinn/ Sefur sæll à kyrrð/ Fellur mjöll/ Hljótt à húmi á jörð/ Grasið mitt/ Grasið mitt og þitt/ Geymir mold til vors/ bjork. |

well, here's at least something that no one else has already said. i don't want to pay $35 for a ticket to stand behind obsessed new found glory fans while the only reason i'm there is, or possibly is not, being heckled by these extremely high energy kids. now, this is selfish, and stereotyping, i know. but i won't lie, i'm a selfish person. if it works out well for eisley, that's awesome. that very well may happen. i'm not against it for eisley. i'm against it for me. eat that, nice people! _________________ squeakn squeak |

The Way I see it, NFG and Eisley (Gods and Godesses of all things cool and Indie) are complete opposites: Eisley: New and Interesting Themselves Have shown no signs of selling out Dont sing in High pitched Pre-pubesent (sp?) voices And don Whine all the time. NFG: Do I really need to go through it all? They just wouldnt work very well together. They have really NOTHING in common, and they wouldnt compliment each other at all. Really I think that possibley Eisley and The Sundays would be the perfect match. I dont know if the Sunday's are still ya' know recording and stuff (last album I know of was in 97') but they would deffinatly go well together. Plus, Eisley has said in some form or another (correct me if I'm wrong) that they take insperation from the Sundays. Its perfect! |

I'd rather see them tour with a band that fit more closely with the genre, personally. But I understand it's probably largely up to their management, like how they were just told "oh yeah, you're touring with Snow Patrol" "thanks for asking.." blah, music biz. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

Since it is official now, I'm trying really hard to go to see 'em. Who knows maybe New Found Glory won't be that bad. Someone might have already said this but whatever, there are probably a lot of people on other message boards groaning when they hear (fill in another band on the bill) is touring with Eisley, so just try and keep an open mind. _________________ Power is only pain It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in. I am totally ashamed to admit this...but I have witnessed a NFG concert in Dallas. It was no doubt the worst show I've ever been to, my friends dragged me to it and i was in the pit. The people down there on the floor were very much high energy kids, Finch also played that night and they went crazy during their set. I don't think I could bring myself to suffer through it again to see a short Eisley set. It really just doesn't make sense to me. At the same time, if Modico was given the same opportunity I'd do it. It's hard for me to really say if it's a bad thing or not. I admit that I'm pretty much an elitist when it comes to music and it's hard for me to accept mainstream mediocre music. Not all popular music is bad...New Found Glory...I hate to say it is in my opinion very very lame. I don't like a lot of bands that other people on here like, but that's not the point. It doesn't just come down to how good the band it is, much more goes in to making these decisions and I think Boyd did a good job of explaining things. Jonathan said he thinks it will be fun, so if Eisley is cool with it, why shouldn't we be. I support the decision to go on this tour, but NFG is probably the last band I'd listen to. _________________ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - WWW.MODICOMUSIC.COM www.myspace.com/modico "even on the drearest day a loving hand won't turn away God's greatest gift to man how sweet is love" http://www.myspace.com/ambientgecko - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - |

Eisley will most likely open for the other band(s). I saw them on their last tour, and I left shortly after they performed. It doesn't have to be a difficult thing. I was able to say hi to them and leave before Snow Patrol even set up all their stuff. If you're worried about money, and aren't a hobo, then you probably don't want to see Eisley all that much. You have from now until next Spring to aquire money for a ticket. Go for it! Eisley probably isn't planning for this upcoming tour to be their definitive "get to know Eisley" tour that will ultimately make or break their careers (and spirits!). Yes, it'll be their first tour with an full album under their belts (in their socks?), but I'm sure they could figure out how to make another album, all while they tour and play for various audiences and add to the UBER-EISLEY FANBASE. If they tour with NFG and don't seem to like it all that much, oh well; they're not helpless and I'm sure they'll be fine pretty much no matter what. Touring seems like fun. Touring and getting to play for people who may not know or even like your music, with a band that totally likes your music, seems like even more fun. |

A band that has a tour with Coldplay under their belt can easily, easily do better than NFG. _________________ www.myspace.com/themachinegarden The Machine Garden like friends. |

I have to be nice and say that New Found Glory is one of the worst among the new breed of watered down emo pop/punk bands. _________________ https://soundcloud.com/kiteswithoutstrings/tracks |

I think NFG is decent as far as pop-punk goes (which isn't saying much, but there are much worse *cough*good charlotte*cough*). I think the best thing about this tour is that there's actually a good chance that they'll come through Spokane (hunch), which means it may be the only chance I'll have to see Eisley live. Until I head off to college in Seattle next year, that is. |
