just hope that i am not the one people are talking about who is saying that i don't like the song (i'd hate to cause sherri any ill feelings). i really both versions. both are really cool, i just thought that the original was "personally" better, but they are still some of the best things i have heard. (i just really hope i am not the one you people are talking about, i didn't mean anything bad). |

I'm sure you didn't...don't worry about it....I as well thought that the first version was better...but I believe in time good songs become great in time....so my thoughts in the final cut....it's going to sound SWEET!!! _________________

i think any discussion of this nature should have a disclaimer such as: the poster of this topic acknowledges that all eisley songs are excessively good and better than songs by 99% of all other bands, notable exceptions including radiohead, the beatles and the snake david agreement. additionally, the poster accepts full liablity for potential heart failure caused by overexcitement and general giddiness when thinking about how excesively good eisley songs are. |

It's one of my favourites right now, along with Mr. Pine, Golly Sandra and My Lovely. I love all Eisley songs, but those four step it up a peg. Their reputation has gone down a peg! A WHOLE PEG! [/Simpsons Reference] Anyways ... I just got this idea in my head of just piano and Stacy/Sherri vocals in the song when I was reading the first post ... I'm going to love this song no matter how it's recorded anyways. (But that was a really pretty, tranquil head-bubble-thought.) _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |

wow... ok... for the moment, Lost at sea is my favorite Eisley song... so, so beautiful... to me, the arrangement is what makes a song accessible... but for me, this song is lyrically just so beautiful *tear* </mush> _________________ Now I never leave my zone, we're both alone, I'm going home... It's still nice and sparse. So, i think the studio version will be great. My favorite four Eisley songs: Sun Feet, Over the Mountains, Escpaing Song and right now ... Plenty of Paper. The last two change all the time, though. Lost at Sea is somewhere in the bottom five of the top 10, i guess. I'm rambling! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
