Boyd...wow what an awesome job you've done on the cover art. Almost as great as the song samples we've heard already, but thats some stiff competion! So i was wondering...and thought it was covered but couldnt find it on the forum...well at least not in the 30 seconds i looked for it.
BUT...does anyone know for sure how the cd will be packaged? Is it going to be in your run of the mill jewel case with a booklet, or will it be more like the two EP's were packaged...
I personally like the way the previous were done. More 'artsy' more vintage, but I understand the cost could be more and WB may have wanted something else....
Just curious. Very Happy

my favourite type of packaging is the ones with the thin cardboard that goes over the jewel cases. like how the limited edition deja entendus, the new co&ca, or the bright eyes' "lifted" came.

I rather liked how Squint Records switched it up using just regular jewel cases. The cover was actually on the back of the CD tray, so you'd pick it up and try to open it, but it wouldn't since it was backwards. heh heh.

I hope they go for jewel cases and not the cardboard stuff.

i think boyd said it would be a jewel case. i hope so. digipaks look cool to start with, but they don't stay looking good for long. both my laughing city and marvelous things digipaks are all worn down to the plain cardboard along the edges of the spine.

jewel cases are much more durable...the others wear down pretty quick if you are using them alot, but i display my favorite cases and store away the others so they are all pretty much in mint conditions....I guess it depends on your use really

Yeah, he said standard jewel case. And yeah, I really don't like any paper cases. They look nice, but they get screwed up easily and then it's all messed up and you have this haggardly shred of cardboard wit a CD in it. At least you can replace jewel cases.

YYYYYYYYYYYYYES! JEWEL CASES!

It's so dang hard to get CDs out of the cardboard ... things.

I mean, really ... (points at cardboard CD case on a table)

What is this?

A CD FOR ANTS?!?!!?

How can the children listen to Eisley ... if they can't even get the CD out of the case?

It needs to be ... at least ...

three times this size!

Can't you see?! I'm sick of this logic! If you want to get up, you have to fall down, if you want to go left, you have to go right.

"If you do not control your anger--"

Then my anger will control me? That's what you were going to say, wasn't it?

Okay ... wrong movie.
