He lives here in Tyler and is our percussionist. His name is Charles Barnett. He is simply amazing And, he has played with Paula Abdul, he's been on The Tonight Show, and he has recorded stuff for Quicy Jones, but you would never know it because he is so humble. Cool guy that Charles |

That video was so awesome. The whole four-girls-crowded-around-two-microphones thing reminded me of the worship team I was in a couple years ago. Cool guy that Charles i'm sorry if i'm bugging you, things like this interest me. does he still play on sessions and stuff, or does he now have a regular job in Tyler? i guess Weston is probably interested in hearing him tell about stuff or showing different aspects of percussion. _________________ I am Torgo. He plays on a lot of worship recordings, and he's always flying out to some other country for a conference that he's been called to play at. He teaches also. I started taking from him a few years ago, but then life took over and I had to drop the classes. He's the most encouraging and patient teacher though. |
