weather.com for Dallas says: Thursday Oct 2 high 80 low 63 and partly cloudy. Of course anyone living in Texas knows that a Dallas forecast spanning more then one day is, at best, an educated guess but hopefully the weather will be perfect for the outdoor show. I can't wait. I was having lunch yesturday with someone from my work and we started talking about music and I mentioned Eisley. I was ready for the "who are they" question but she had heard Telescope Eyes on the radio and even read an article about the band in a Longview magazine or something ( she lives in Longview ). At any rate, I told her about the October 2 show and she's going to try and make it. So count +1 to the growing Eisley fan army :) _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

I'm going to try to make it too. I was talking to this family member and was talking about some band, and they said they'd heard a demo or something on the stereo and were interested. So we went on line and found their website - and clicked on forum and came here and started typing this: I'm going to try to make it too. That's when I re-circuited my algorithms and got out of the continuum. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. This is the only thing close to an answer that I could find on the site: "Locations, Times, and Other Details for all 2003 events coming soon!" GENERAL INFORMATION E-mail info@newmusicfestival.com |

Carmdranga wrote: skibledeeboop for boyd... but does the show require us to pay to get in the area... then the eisley show is free? I was under the impression that the entire festival is free... provided you pick up passes in advance. According to the website, "One wristband gets you in to all 2003 New Music Festival showcases throughout the entire festival (subject to venue capacity and age restrictions). TICKETS ARE FREE IN ADVANCE! (Otherwise, wristbands may be purchased during the festival for only $10!) Click HERE or see our ad in the Dallas Observer to find out how to get your free passes!" And the free pass link takes you to a page that says this: "GET YOUR FREE PASSES! Pick up your free festival passes this weekend at the door of these Deep Ellum locations: Thursday, September 25th - Curtain Club (2800 Main) Friday, September 26th - Club Clearview (2806 Elm) Saturday, September 27th - Liquid Lounge (2800 Main)" Of course, now all those days have passed. _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |
