You've got time to see if you can bum a ride from someone coming up from Houston or Austin for that show. Beg here, it works wonders for me. Your mom is pretty much right about going alone, but tagging along with someone changes things often.

That might be the thing to do... Getting a ride, that is... I don't really worry about the male part - I've got that covered in myself, though I'm not a very big person... I could actually drive there, which isn't a big deal... My mom's concerns are about me getting lost in Deep Ellum, though I know my way pretty well by now... Since it is in the Tea Room, I may not want to go - I'm really not too fond of being squeezed into a tiny venue with many people... and it is a Friday night... We shall have to see... I may need to save my money for The Decemberists at Trees the next month...

Actually, its in the ballroom. I've never been to that venue, is the ballroom bigger than the tearoom?

Also, I went to the Warner Bros. Site (http://store.wbr.com/store/product.asp?upc=093624899020) and I didn't see the February 18th show.

Thanks for that detail... I think that the ballroom is bigger... I've never been to the Tea Room... The crowd should be no problem in the ballroom - I've been there and it wasn't too awfully packed... I'm surprised that the show isn't listed...

i just may be able to go, but i doubt any of my friends would want to.

I have called Bill's Records and checked frontgatetickets.com for tickets, and they both have them; but, Warner Bros. had the date up a few days ago and now it's not there. Just a little confusing.

If The Elected are there, I am definitely going to be there...

EDIT: Their site says nothing of the concert... If they are there I will be happy and if they are not there I will still be happy... I have gotten approval to attend the show...

My attendance to this show is becoming more likely. Should I order my ticket online, or wait until I arrive at the place?

I'm excited. This will be my first Eisley show.

I would order the ticket online... That way, you don't arrive to the show and get turned away if it is sold out...

I'll be there... that is, as far as I know...
