I totally agree with KD. What the heck happened to that letter?! Put it back brotha! That was like...two people who thought it was "awkward". ok, that's it, i'm NEVER even mildly expressing a negative opinion on a message board, that is the second time in as many days that i said something was weird or made a joke that corrected someone's grammar and they pulled their post off! MY OPINION IS WORTH JACK!!! LISTEN TO ME NOW! DON'T REMOVE POSTS BECAUSE I SAY ANYTHING! besides, i only thought it was slightly weird, it was beautifully worded, i wish i could write that well. so put it back up...or i'll hold my breath till i turn blue _________________ welcome to the no pants club boone |

Now I'm t/o'd. 
The original poster hasn't come back and hasn't posted the letter back. Why are people threatened, jealous, opinionated, and judgemental when someone does something heart felt? Do we have to make fun of them and pounce on them here? I really wish we could raise the bar here in Laughing City, and help new people to feel welcome. We are going to be seeing lots of new people. No one wants to hang around a place where the older members make them feel stupid for being new or unfamiliar. Us moderators can handle the weirdos. That letter was one of the most artistic, and beautifully written letters I have ever read about anyone. I would have enjoyed reading it, no matter who it was written about. Let's all please try to think before we type. And most of all remember....just because we have an opinion about something, doesn't mean it always has to be heard. Some of my favorite quotes: Opinions are like bellybuttons....everybody has one. And... Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue. Hopefully our friend will come back. |
